City of Guelph's entry, a 182 kilogram golden beauty, is
the pride of Guelph's composting team, led by Trevor Barton.
The $500 prize will be donated to the Guelph Enabling Garden,
a multi-use garden designed to accommodate gardeners of
varying degrees of cognitive and physical ability.

McCallum
grows em big with compost and is the National Winner
of the First Annual Great Pumpkin Growing Contest sponsored
by The Composting Council of Canada. McCallum, whos
been a pumpkin growing hobbyist for a number of years, designated
his $500 prize to the Walkerton Heritage Water Garden.

hand to accept the cheque on behalf of the community and
